Do You Have What It Takes?

The Opportunity

Longo Custom Builders is seeking a hands on Site Supervisor to lead the daily execution of luxury custom homes and high end renovations. The Site Supervisor owns what happens on the jobsite each day: safety, quality, organization, trade coordination, inspections, cleanliness, and forward progress. This position is the eyes, ears, and field leader of the project and works in close partnership with the Project Manager.

Who Will Thrive Here

You notice details others miss, plan several steps ahead, and take pride in a clean, organized, well run jobsite. You can earn the respect of skilled trade partners, hold standards without creating unnecessary conflict, and communicate facts quickly when conditions change.

What You Will Own

  • Open, organize, and lead the jobsite each day with professional standards for safety, protection, access, cleanliness, and security.
  • Coordinate trade partners, deliveries, inspections, equipment, and daily work so crews can be productive and work is properly sequenced.
  • Maintain a reliable two week look ahead and communicate upcoming needs, constraints, manpower issues, and required decisions to the Project Manager.
  • Verify that current plans, specifications, selections, scopes, purchase orders, checklists, and approved details are available before work proceeds.
  • Inspect work continuously for quality, completeness, code compliance, and alignment with approved documents; address deficiencies promptly.
  • Document daily manpower, work completed, deliveries, site conditions, inspections, delays, photos, and notable conversations in the daily log.
  • Protect completed work and ensure materials are received, checked, stored, and handled properly.
  • Prepare for and support customer, architect, designer, and internal site meetings while maintaining a professional jobsite experience.
  • Coordinate required municipal and third party inspections and confirm corrections are completed.
  • Drive punch work and closeout with urgency, thoroughness, and ownership.

What Success Looks Like

  • The site is safe, secure, clean, protected, and ready for productive work.
  • Trades know where to be, what to do, and what standard is expected.
  • The next two weeks are planned and constraints are raised before they stop production.
  • Work is checked as it is installed, reducing rework and hidden defects.
  • Daily logs and photographs accurately tell the story of the project.
  • The Project Manager receives timely field facts and can confidently communicate with the customer.

Qualifications

  • Strong field experience in custom residential construction, luxury renovations, or comparable high quality building work.
  • Broad knowledge of residential construction sequencing, building systems, plans, details, codes, inspections, and quality control.
  • Ability to lead multiple trade partners, resolve field conflicts, and enforce standards professionally.
  • Strong planning, communication, documentation, and follow through.
  • Comfort using a smartphone, tablet, project management software, email, photographs, and digital plans.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for projects throughout metro Atlanta.
  • OSHA training, trade experience, or construction education is beneficial but not required when field leadership is proven.
