Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in the Smyrna, GA area. You will lead residential construction projects from initial planning to final closeout. You will act as the primary point of contact, coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure flawless execution within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining the scope, resource allocation, and intermediate milestone timelines.
- Budget & Cost Control: Prepare and review cost estimates, manage project budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and process change orders.
- Team Leadership: Supervise on-site field personnel and subcontractors, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Compliance & Safety: Obtain necessary building permits and licenses. Enforce all local/national building codes and strictly implement OSHA safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure workmanship meets high-quality standards, and troubleshoot any issues.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate project meetings and prepare detailed status reports for clients and senior management.
Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing construction projects from the ground up.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., JobTread, CoConstruct, MS Project) and MS Office.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or OSHA certification is highly preferred.
- Abilities: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
